Turner executives weren't happy when Vince Russo debuted Dustin Rhodes as his latest creation: Seven/Se7en in late-1999. So, the suits at the top squashed this wacky follow-on from the WWF's Goldust and told Russo to kill it ASAP. That's why Rhodes cut a shoot promo on the 8 November '99 Nitro.

There, whilst dressed in full Seven garb, he bashed the WWF for Goldust and WCW for making him wear "this silly sh*t". Keep in mind Dustin did this after floating to the ring. Why he bothered to do that if he was going to trash the character is anyone's guess.

One of those frankly sh*te shoot-style moments WCW leaned hard on near the end.
