For years, fans have been wanting more storylines from the Divas division. In past years we saw Victoria and Trish and Lita and Trish have great feuds. This year we got The Bella Twins receiving more TV time than was necessary. Now Brie and Nikki have both improved in the ring since they started, but neither are particularly good at...well, anything. Watching Brie attempt to act is especially painful. This feud saw Nikki audibly wish that that Brie had died in the womb, Jerry Springer rented for an evening, and one of the sisters having to be the others bitch for 30 days. The inherent problem with these two feuding is that neither neither one is very likable. Brie is mainly popular because of her husband, and Nikki is...well...no one is quite sure why she was given a big role. Despite Paige and AJ being superior to the twins in virtually every way, it was The Bellas receiving far more TV time to put over their angle. To top it all off, the feud was just dropped after the 30 day servant storyline was up. Instead of Brie getting revenge, she just stuck by her sister for absolutely no reason. The company wasted hours of our lives this year on Bella vs. Bella, and couldnt bother giving us 15 seconds worth of an explanation on how they patched things up.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
