6 AEW Fyter Fest 2020 (Night Two) Predictions You Need To Know

6. Tag Team Titles: Kenny Omega and Hangman Page (c) vs. Private Party

Kenny Omega Hangman Page
AEW

This ought to be a cut-and-dried victory for the champions, whose excellent run continued against Best Friends last week. That bout wasn't quite in the upper echelon of Page and Omega's Tag Team Championship matches thus far but still banged, as Trent and Chuck Taylor levelled-up the competitive spirit lurking beneath their off-kilter comedy act, cheered on by legendary wrestlemom Sue.

Private Party earned their opportunity by besting Santana and Ortiz on night one. Said opportunity wouldn't have existed if not for the Cage/Moxley postponement, as AEW put this together to add lustre with their World Champion unavailable. Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen were ranked fifth in AEW's last set of rankings, with Best Friends (felled last week), the Natural Nightmares (who lost to Page and Omega on 17 June), and the preoccupied Young Bucks and Dark Order above them.

Expect a fun match, at least. While Private Party tend to work best against other high-fliers, Omega and Page have a high floor as a tag team and an astronomical ceiling, fusing state-of-the-art work, psychologically rich layouts, and their simmering tension deftly. Matt Hardy could be a factor as well, with the outcome giving the legend and his young charges a new speedbump to overcome.

Winners: Kenny Omega and Hangman Page
