6 AEW Fyter Fest 2020 (Night Two) Predictions You Need To Know

5. FTR and The Young Bucks vs. The Butcher and The Blade and Lucha Brothers

FULL DEATH CERO MIEDO vs some guys
AEW

AEW is telling one hell of a story with FTR and The Young Bucks.

Rather than rushing straight into the long-awaited dream match (and thus spaffing years of indirect build up the wall at the first possible opportunity), the promotion is playing the long game. Yes, these teams want to fight, and yes, the animosity is bubbling, but there's a mutual respect growing between the tandems as well. The full extent of this was apparent in night one's closing angle, which brought Hangman Page and Kenny Omega to the mix, adding the Tag Team Champions' unique dynamic ahead of a likely title programme with whichever team wins the rivalry.

The opponents have been incorporated well. FTR faced The Butcher and The Blade in their first AEW bout, stemming from previous sour interactions, and the rivalry was expanded to include long-time Bucks rivals the Lucha Brothers, who returned two weeks ago, profiting from a distraction as Butcher and Blade stole Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler's truck. Simple but effective.

Quality-wise, this could be phenomenal, though the outcome looks straightforward. A Butcher/Blade/Lucha Brothers win could spark the FTR/Bucks feud off properly though it still feels too early for that.

Winners: FTR and the Young Bucks
