The following year, the show was remembered for its fantastic pair of main events, the first of which pitted Cena against the Miz and John Morrison in a Triple Threat Cage match for the WWE Championship.

Morrison stole the show when he hit Star-ship Pain from the top of the cage—a move that shouldn’t even be possible—but it was Cena who scored the victory when perhaps the Prince of Parkour deserved it more.

The second main event pitted Christian against Del Rio, for the World Heavyweight Championship which had been vacated by Edge. A stellar showdown concluded with Christian finally capturing the world title, backed by his lifelong friend, in one of the more emotional moments in WWE programming.

As well as the two main events, we got Punk vs. Orton in an excellent Last Man Standing match, as well as a solid showing from Cody Rhodes and Mysterio in a Fall Count Anywhere clash. Add to that the surprise debut of Kharma and the result is a pretty memorable show.

However, we’ve got to cover the other side of the story—Michael Cole and Jack Swagger teaming against Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler in a Country Whipping match. It wasn’t quite Handicap Hogpen quality, but it wasn’t great either…
