6 Great NXT Performers That Have No Chance In WWE

6. Bayley

Bayley is without question one of the most beloved characters on NXT, and if you take one look at her work, it's easy to see why. As a character she's enthusiastic, affectionate, a wrestling historian, she's painfully shy at times, and she is in every sense of the term an underdog in the NXT's Women's Division. Furthermore, she is absolutely adorable and a pretty good wrestler to boot, and that along with her other great qualities endears her to the fans. Every week she comes out to the ring and she's so happy to be there. Any fan can relate to that on at least some level and while most of us will never don a pair of trunks and wrestle in front of the WWE Universe, fans know how they would feel if they got the chance to. Bayley is NXT's embodiment of that, and that along with her status as an underdog and the fact that she might be the cutest thing in a WWE ring, is why the crowd at Full Sail loves her. All that being said, it's hard to believe that her shtick will translate well to Raw and Smackdown. There's always a chance obviously, but the character that she projects is not one that is long for the main roster. While she may be a breath of fresh air on NXT, it wouldn't take long before the fans turned on her on the grander stage. The WWE Universe at large doesn't appreciate cute, or adorable, or naivety, or general enthusiasm. The WWE Universe at large loves a bad ass, somebody with some edge to them, and edge is simply something that Bayley doesn't have. Were she to be called up to the main roster, she would flame out in a matter of weeks. Fans would tire of her fangirl, goody goody attitude and she would be jobbing to top Diva heels in no time.
