In September 1995, the budget range In Your House pay-per-views were still a new concept. For the third installment, the WWF had Shawn Michaels and Diesel beat The British Bulldog and Yokozuna to become new Tag-Team Champions. Bulldog, in case anyone was wondering, was a late replacement for Owen Hart.

5,146 fans took this in. That number is interesting, not least because the Saginaw Civic Center (now the Dow Event Center) in Michigan can hold 7,647 for concerts, 6,217 for basketball and 5,527 for hockey. With more room to work with than either of the two sports mentioned there, the WWF still didn't top those numbers.

The next month's In Your House 4 show pulled 10,339 and the previous SummerSlam had drawn 18,062. So, it was again confusing that the WWF, even in the midst of a mid-90s lull, picked out a smaller venue. Worse, they didn't even manage to sell it out with a stronger card than the next In Your House served up.
