6 Most Insane Things Happening In Wrestling Right Now (Nov 17)

Bobby Lashley

Lashley granted the strangest interview in recent memory to Main Event Radio this week.

Lashley was asked about his complicated relationship with Paul Heyman - the man who was meant to represent Lashley's Mr. McMahon in 2006, despite the clear implication that Lashley was meant to represent the next Brock Lesnar, not the next Steve Austin. It was a double dose of desperation. And now, the tables appear to have been turned.

Lashley had this to say:

"Paul will reach out to me out of nowhere with a tweet or text. Those are the times where Brock kind of p*sses him off a little bit. Then he calls me and sees how I’m doing. Then him and Brock make up and he disappears."

It's sort of clear what Lashley is trying to get at. He's trying to build tension between himself and Lesnar, and insinuate that Heyman is proffering his services as an advocate - but it really reads as though Lashley is the side chick in this situation. It's almost fitting; he was always McMahon's mega-ripped silver medal of a collegiate amateur wrestler.

Is Heyman also sliding into Braun Strowman's DMs?
