6 New Directions For WWE After SummerSlam 2017
Brace yourselves, Braun vs. Brock is upon us...
A whopping five titles changed hands at SummerSlam 2017. That doesn't mask the fact the pay-per-view was poor overall, but it does allow WWE to go in several different directions when it comes to belts like the SmackDown Women's, Raw Women's and Raw Tag-Team Titles. Also, maybe AJ Styles can get a new opponent for that US Title too.
In the main event picture, who knows what's next for Jinder Mahal? His match with Shinsuke Nakamura failed to become a SummerSlam highlight, and there's actually more buzz about who AJ's next opponent will be for the so-called secondary US Title than there is for the WWE Title. WWE could do a lot worse than putting Nakamura in against Styles.
Raw's title scene is a bit more exciting. A tantalising 'Monster vs. Monster' clash is on the horizon for the Universal Title, and there's potential for Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins to become the brand's top tag-team for the rest of 2017.
Maybe Raw is the flagship show after all...
