The quest to turn Jason Jordan into a genuinely popular good guy continued at TLC, and it didn't improve; Jordan is still bland in the role, enough that fans are already tired of the notion that he has anything to do with the beloved Kurt Angle. At least creative hinted at change with Jordan's heelish mannerisms throughout the show.

Firstly, Jason hurled vegetables and fruit at Elias as he tried to regale fans with his latest city-bashing setlist. Then, Jordan later beat Elias under shady circumstances. It looked like the heel managed to get his shoulder up off the canvas, but the ref still counted him down. Does this mean Elias will claim Angle has instructed officials to favour his son?

There are certainly worse storylines the ex-Drifter could follow over the next few months. Being associated with a top name like Kurt could never be considered a negative, and there's value in the singer-songwriter gimmick Elias is playing. Time for WWE to take his character up a notch.
