6 Predictions For NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III

4. Adam Cole Appears At Ringside

It looks like Adam Cole is finally ready to make his NXT debut. His Ring Of Honor contract expired several months ago, and while he has reportedly been on WWE's radar for a number of years, Cole seemed to vanish this summer. He has made just a handful of indie appearances since leaving his former employers, but reports suggest he signed with WWE earlier this week, and is expected to make an imminent debut.

Showing him in the crowd at TakeOver almost makes too much sense. WWE have been doing this with new NXT signings for years, so while Cole probably won't make a significant contribution to the show, he should at least get the audience hyped.

It'd be nice to see the company go down a different route and have these front row appearances result in something grander than "hey, look who's here!". The company could use a big debut angle to set Cole's first feud up, but deviating from these patterns is very un-WWE, and it's unlikely that we'll get anything significant from Cole. Expect him to make a bigger impact at the next set of TV tapings instead.
