6 Problems With Brock Lesnar As WWE Champion

5. His Character Works Better When Seen Rarely

If Brock did indeed agree to extra dates, for what we can assume is a colossal amount of money, it could very well ultimately damage his appeal. His credentials are spectacular and unlike those of any other professional wrestler - a NCAA Champion, a UFC Heavyweight Champion and now a four time WWE Champion, Brock is a special attraction and needs to be treated as such. The mystique around The Beast Incarnate, as a character, a man and as an athlete, relies on the scarceness with which he appears on WWE television. If he was to rock up to every Raw, or even every PPV, it would diminish the big WrestleMania payoff that this whole angle is so obviously leading to. It's something of a Catch 22 situation - the WWE Champion needs to be around, but the more Brock is around the more he'll become just like everyone else on the roster.
