3. We Don't Know How Long He'll Be Around For
This echoes what many said about Brock's WrestleMania victory over The Undertaker, but the WWE is investing an enormous amount in the former UFC Champ and there's a serious question as to whether his longevity warrants that. Brock reportedly signed a two-year extension on his contract after WrestleMania XXIX, which means he's around at least until next year's Show of Shows. And while it seems to reason that he'll stick with his incredibly light and lucrative WWE contract, who's to say Brock won't split from the company after WrestleMania XXXI? Breaking Undertaker's WrestleMania streak is a massive, massive deal - but it only took Brock one night. Booking him as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and an unbeatable Beast for seven long months is completely different type of investment. If he's going to stick around for a while then that's all fine, but the fact is no one knows how long Brock has committed himself to the company for. And that's not even mentioning the fact that he walked out on the company in 2004 - Brock had seven years left on his contract, which was due to expire in 2010, but after WrestleMania XX he opted to ditch the professional wrestling industry in favour of NFL and later MMA. Vince McMahon and Triple H's investment in Brock, in the form of a long reign as an unbeatable WWE Champion, may turn out to be a perilous one.
