6 Reasons Why Baron Corbin Isn't Ready To Be WWE Champion

5. His In-Ring Work Needs Time To Develop

Corbin carries himself as a top guy during his entrance routines. There's no denying that, the guy looks, walks and even snarls like he belongs in the main event picture. As soon as the bell rings though, his inexperience begins to show through and that needs some attention before he can rightfully take his place as WWE Champion.

Not the worst worker in the world (far from it), Baron nonetheless doesn't exude the headline quality guys like John Cena, AJ Styles or even Roman Reigns do. There's no feeling that he's in total control at all times, which is hardly surprising given the fact he's only been wrestling for around 5 years now.

Given more time to develop, Baron Corbin could be something special, but that could take another 1-2 years. There's no shame in that, because not just anybody can walk in the door and become a main event level star straight away. Watching Corbin's matches makes it clear he's a while away from joining the upper echelons.
