6 Reasons WWE Network Lost Record Subscribers This Summer

3. There's Too Much Product Across The Board

Although it's hardly an issue exclusive to the summer of 2017, the fact remains that WWE's blinding amount of content is almost suffocating at this point. Three hours of Raw on Monday, two for SmackDown on Tuesday followed by another hour for 205 Live immediately afterwards and a further hour for NXT on Wednesday. It's all too much.

Even before taking into account all the extra product like Main Event, the Raw Pre-Show, Talking Smack (only just cancelled as a weekly), This Week In WWE, and the countless bombardment of YouTube content, WWE are expecting people to watch a minimum of seven hours per week just to keep up with everything that's going on. That's insane.

It does seem strange to complain about 'too much wrestling', but consider this: could you imagine being tasked with watching seven hours of your favourite TV show each week then hitting up YouTube for more? There should only be further content when there's a demand for it, not just because WWE feel like it.

Less, in this instance, would be more.
