6 Reasons You Should Be Watching Impact Wrestling

3. Violent Variety

Impact Wrestling

The variety on offer extends to more than just the characters. Impact consistently provides brawling, high flying, hardcore, technical and of late intergender wrestling also. Much like the ECW of old, Impact places emphasis on the edgier, more chair and table strewn style of high impact (ha) wrestling whilst showing respect to a variety of styles both more and less traditional.

2 hours of diverse ring action whiz by like an old episode of Tom and Jerry. On top of that, all of the action types on offer have one vital thing in common: they’re not interrupted by a commercial break every 12.1 seconds. That means getting into a match only for a dive, ad break and inexplicable headlock to ruin its pace is not so common.

And for those of you of a bloodthirstier persuasion, the blade is still legal here so fear not. Impact is not messing around when they use the term blood feud. Nor are they afraid to push the envelope. Unencumbered by any major commercial sponsors (though this does of course have its downsides too), Impact have often provided truly shocking moments of brutality in the ring.
