6 Shows That Can Host The Undertaker's Retirement

3. WrestleMania 32

The location of WrestleMania 32 has been confirmed: the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The Undertaker is a known Texan, so it would make a lot of sense for him to make his last appearance in his home state, where he would get a monstrous ovation. As of this writing, there has not been any confirmation that the Undertaker is set to appear at WrestleMania 31, with the only indication of the opposite being an image of a WrestleMania 31 production truck with his face on it. Whether that indicates his involvement in the event remains to be seen. There are a few other reasons for Undertaker to have his final appearance at WrestleMania 32 instead of this year, aside from the aforementioned location in Texas. First, he is still quite hurt, and it doesn€™t really make sense for him to wrestle after experiencing such trauma last year. It wouldn€™t be that bad for Undertaker to miss this year€™s event and be healthier for a final appearance next year. Second, the venue in Texas is much bigger, with an estimated standing room capacity of 105,000. If this were to be labelled €˜the biggest WrestleMania ever€™ in terms of attendance, then it would make sense to amplify the event€™s historic nature with the Undertaker€™s final appearance. Third, for Undertaker€™s final appearance, there needs to be a lot of build. Last year, the buildup to the Undertaker€™s match with Lesnar was sub-par, especially when compared to how much was done in 2013 in the few weeks they had to prepare for his match with Punk. If WWE wants to have Undertaker go up against Bray Wyatt this year, and have it be his final match, it should€™ve been treated as a big deal and given significant build-up. Considering how little mention there has been of the Undertaker, it might already be too late. That€™s why a match at WrestleMania 32 would be a better choice, because it gives WWE, and the Undertaker himself, more time to build the match up and make it one for the history books.
