6 Shows That Can Host The Undertaker's Retirement

2. The RAW After WrestleMania

WrestleMania is considered to be the climax of the most important storylines in WWE€™s fiscal year. The best matches are supposed to take place at €˜Mania and the most heated feuds are supposed to reach their zenith at this event. As such, WrestleMania is not always the best place to hold promos or retirements. If WWE plans on giving the Undertaker a great farewell, it€™s likely to take place the night after WrestleMania, on RAW, just like how they did for €˜Nature Boy€™ Ric Flair. In 2008, the RAW after WrestleMania 24 was centered on a career retrospective for Ric Flair, highlighting his biggest achievements and best moments. At the end of the show, Flair had a 40-minute or so goodbye ceremony, where many of his closest friends and co-workers (including the Undertaker), came to say thanks to him. If the WWE were to do this for the Undertaker, it would make a lot of sense for a retirement ceremony to happen on RAW, since WrestleMania would be showcasing matches more than anything else. It would be appropriate to dedicate an entire episode of RAW to remember the Undertaker€™s storied career, and allow his friends and colleagues to thank him for his contributions. The Undertaker is a special character and deserves a special show for his retirement. If a retirement show on RAW isn€™t possible, to avoid it being too similar to Ric Flair€™s retirement, then there€™s always one more option€
