The Undertaker is WWEs most celebrated and revered Superstar of all time. He is a one-in-a-century character, and has had a truly phenomenal career. What better way for him to get the sendoff he deserves than his own, one-time Pay-Per-View, where he wrestles his last match ever? This idea is based off of an event that happened in Japan in 2013. Kenta Kobashi, one of Japans most beloved and respected wrestlers, was given his own special, one-time PPV, called Final Burning in Bukodan, named after the arena where he had his best matches, and based off his burning spirit gimmick. That show only had a few matches, but the main event saw Kobashi and 3 of his closest partners defeat a team of rookies, some of whom he had trained. The match ended when he performed the final Moonsault of his career, while the rest of the show was dedicated to him receiving thanks from the many people in the wrestling industry that he had influenced. In the Undertakers case, it would be fitting for him to have a 8-man tag team match composed of, for example, 'Taker, Kane, Triple H and the Big Show (who considered Taker his mentor), taking on a team of mid-carders. The match would end with Undertaker delivering the final Tombstone Piledriver of his career, officially ending his wrestling career. Having a special, one-time event dedicated to the Undertakers retirement, which would have to have a name symbolic to the Undertaker, would certainly garner a lot of interest from the WWE Universe. Undertaker is a well-known name to wrestling fans young and old, being one of the few wrestlers in WWE to have appeal to multiple generations of fans. His retirement would be considered a big deal, and WWE could take advantage of this to increase WWE Network numbers or PPV buys. It would also make sense for this PPV to take place in June, because that month has been one of the weakest months for WWE for quite a few years now. In any case, if there was ever a WWE Superstar or legend that deserved a retirement Pay-Per-View event to themselves, its the Undertaker.
