Who Should Have Won - Christian

CM Punk shocked the world at WrestleMania XXV, winning the Money in the Bank ladder match for the second successive year. No one had achieved this feat before the Straight Edge Superstar, and no one has managed it since.

What was equally shocking about Punk's win in 2009 was the fact he was booed as he grabbed the briefcase. Popular as he was, Punk was everyone's second choice to win that ladder match. Who was the man who seemingly primed to finally win big on the grand stage?

Christian.

It looked for all the world as though Captain Charisma was going to win the briefcase. Christian was as popular as he had ever been after returning from TNA, and it may well have been his tenure outside of WWE that cost him.

Punk's win eventually led to a excellently written heel turn and a great run as the leader of the Straight Edge Society, but he shouldn't have won the second briefcase. It was Christian's time.
