Who Should Have Won - Roman Reigns

Everyone and their dog assumed that Roman Reigns was winning the 2015 Money in the Bank ladder match. People were calling it the most predictable MitB match up to that point. Neville, Kofi and Ziggler would provide the athleticism, Kane, Sheamus and Orton were to provide the solid base. Roman Reigns was there to win the briefcase.

Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose were competing for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event, and WWE fans were faced with the prospect of the two former Shield brethren feuding over the title while their third member lurked menacingly in the background. It was perfectly set up.

Instead, WWE decided to 'shock' the fans once again and put the briefcase on a colder-than-Theresa May Sheamus. The Celtic Warrior was going through a sticky patch of total irrelevance in 2015, fresh off a heel turn that should have re-ignited his career but somehow did the opposite.

Sheamus was the most outside of bets to win the 2015 Money in the Bank ladder match, yet win it he did. His win was followed up by more cold booking, before an 'out of nowhere' cash-in that served only as an attempt to get more sympathy on Roman Reigns. It didn't work.
