6 Ups & 0 Downs From AEW Dark (Mar 17)

Ups...

6. That's More Like It

Tony Schiavone Dasha Gonzalez
AEW

This episode of Dark was formatted perfectly. Four matches filled a lean 47-minute runtime, with only the main event stretching into double figures. Each contest was short, snappy, and to the point. There was no length for length's sake as the wrestlers got in, got their sh*t in, and got out, wrapping things up before their gimmickry wore thin.

Also, there was no weird goth stuff on this show. Bonus Up.

Such layouts are what AEW should aspire to with Dark, which should always be a light, breezy watch with easily-digestible matches and simple angles, broken up with snippets from Tony and Dasha. Props to them for nailing it here and let's hope this is how they progress going forward.
