6 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Rampage (April 8)

Ups...

6. A Solid Segment All In

Swerve Strickland QT Marshall
AEW

Chris Jericho, who wasn't on commentary, named QT Marshall his "Sports Entertainer Of The Week". If that's going to be a regular vignette, then the legend might want to start second-guessing his choices. Nothing against QT, but he's hardly the biggest deal in AEW land.

Saying that, he worked his role to a tee on Rampage.

Marshall did the honours for Swerve Strickland in a fine enhancement match (one which had just enough of a heat stretch to make Swerve's comeback mean something), then got the hell out of dodge so that AEW could progress Strickland's story.

Ricky Starks got on the mic and challenged Swerve and Keith Lee to a tag match on Dynamite vs. himself and Powerhouse Hobbs. That worked. Strickland also just comes across as a star in situations like this. His, "Who's House?!" catchphrase has caught fire with All Elite's audience.
