6 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Rampage (May 19)

4. First Time For Everything!

Ethan Page Isiah Kassidy
AEW

Ladies and gents, pigs do fly.

How else could anyone explain why an angle involving The Hardys, Isiah Kassidy, Ethan Page and The Gunns received an 'Up' in this week's article? That certainly hasn't been the case in recent times, because your writer has hated almost every second of this "Firm Deletion"/contractual stuff/boring mess.

You've got to call 'em as you see 'em though, and it's important to try and judge each segment on its own merits. Page, in particular, cut a fine promo in-ring on Friday about being friends with Kassidy. That lowered everyone on the babyface side's guard, meaning The Gunns could ambush them.

From there, the heels wrapped a steel chair around Kassidy's neck and stomped on it. It'll look a bit silly if Isiah rocks up to Double Or Nothing after that, but this was a well-executed skit all round. It was definitely the best this feud has thrown up after months of sucking.
