4. LA Knight > Carmelo Hayes

Some fans on social media seem to have a problem with Carmelo Hayes eating some losses lately, but...he's staring at the lights for bigger stars and gets to hang in there first. That's hardly the worst position for a main roster newcomer to be in. People should be more patient. This isn't a Cameron Grimes ordeal, folks.

Hayes showed a good level of aggression early on vs. Knight, but then bumped around well for the soon-to-be United States Champ. LA winning was the correct call, because he's heading for that collision with Logan Paul that'll pop live crowds and big numbers on socials/YouTube.

WWE know exactly what they're doing here.

The finish to Knight vs. Melo was well worked too. Hayes tried to cheat by holding the tights, but LA reversed it into his own cradle for the win. Realistically, Knight is just better than Carmelo at this point in time. There's nothing wrong with that, and it probably won't be the case forever anyway.
