Wade Barrett called it at the time, then everyone else caught up.

Grayson Waller pulled Austin Theory in front of him during a Johnny Gargano dive spot, which meant Grayson's A-Town Down Under partner unwillingly took the hit instead. This, naturally, is all part of Theory's slow burn babyface turn - Austin was real p*ssed at his pal post match for sacrificing him.

#DIY don't feel like worthy successors to the champs at all, but they might just need to do heading into the meat of the summer months. The most important thing from creative's perspective is getting Theory's turn right. Who supplants them as champions arguably isn't as vital. Maybe that's a sad commentary on the belts.

Regardless, the match pitting Waller vs. Gargano had several bright spots before the big story beat at the end. These lads have gelled well together before, so it wasn't shocking to see them show off some chemistry from the off. Now, onto Theory's big moment. It's coming!
