6 Ups & 1 Down From WWE SmackDown (April 19 - Results & Review)

Ups...

6. A Better Babyface Battle Than Expected, And…

Tiffany Stratton
WWE

...Tiffany Stratton having final say.

She ran in on the main event between Bayley and Naomi to cause a DQ then hit her Prettiest Moonsault Ever on both champ and challenger. Any pre-match concerns (and this writer had a lot of them) were washed away by a well-worked effort then a finish that made Tiffany look big time and promises more to come at Backlash.

WWE split some of Stratton's spotlight with reaction shots from Damage CTRL and the new Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill tandem up in skyboxes. That was a cool visual, and only served to make Tiff look like somebody capable of making her mark. The former NXT star is going to rule the women's division someday, no doubt.

Bayley vs. Naomi vs. Stratton seems plausible for Backlash. Naomi can be rightly p*ssed that she didn't get to see her one-on-one title match through, and Tiffany is firmly in the title picture now. This was a really good parting shot for Friday night's show.

Great use of everybody involved by the end.
