2. Daniel Bryan’s Commentary

It's rare that guest commentary adds anything in WWE.

Daniel Bryan made it two-for-two (Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode were also bags of fun earlier) when he joined Michael Cole and Corey Graves for the Edge vs. Jey Uso headliner. D-Bry was logical, straight to the point and managed to focus on tiny details that the announcers missed.

He was the one who alerted viewers to Edge's submission game, and he tut-tutted when realising that hey, Roman Reigns was conspicuous by his absence when Uso needed him the most. Both of those plot points added a hell of a lot to the match, which is precisely what good commentary should do.

Bryan has a future behind that desk if he can build on this early promise. He was passionate without being overbearing, and managed to show a keen eye for specifics. Three-man booths can be tough (just ask the lads on Raw), but this could easily be Dan's next step when he calls time on his in-ring career.

Y'know, if he wants that.
