6 Ups & 10 Downs From WWE Raw (6 Jan - Results & Review)

7. Get The Hook

WWE Raw Triple H
WWE

Truth be told, Triple H deserves a lot of credit for helping to resurrect WWE from the doldrums of the 2010s and early 2020s, leading the company after his father-in-law was forced out due to various allegations of sex trafficking and paying millions of dollars in hush money to cover up sexual misconduct.

During his two-plus years in charge of WWE operations, Triple H has transformed WWE presentation into an unmistakable success.

However, Triple H just can’t seem to avoid the spotlight at major moments. Monday, he not only narrated the excellent opening video, he was the singular presence in the ring when the giant curtain fell, the first human being seen on the Raw Netflix debut. All eyes were on Triple H as he kicked off the Netflix Era by begging fans to cheer louder so the entire world could hear them.

The self-aggrandizement is just ridiculous at this point. We get it: Triple H is synonymous with this WWE resurgence. We don’t need a reminder every time there’s a capital-M Moment to plug.
