6 Ups & 10 Downs From WWE Raw (6 Jan - Results & Review)

6. Crowd To Hulk: F*** Off

Let’s state the obvious here: Huge shout-out to the fans, who went stone-cold silent for large portions of Raw, for coming to life long enough to boo Hulk Hogan out of the building.

But Hogan’s appearance on Raw Monday night still has to merit a huge “down” here, as WWE failed to read the room and realize that Hulk’s time has long since passed by. We’re well past the point of talking about diminished returns and are now just looking at a net negative every time the Hulkster appears on WWE programming.

Monday, Hogan stepped in it as soon as he started talking about the fans being his greatest tag team partner – as they rained down boos on him mercilessly – and then transitioned to announcing his newest partner, his stupid beer, which also got booed.

There was no polishing this one, no pretending the crowd was split, no question that WWE fans in 2025 have had enough of Hulk. If WWE has any plans for future Hogan appearances – such as the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event Hulk is plugging on commercials – they should scrap them immediately.
