6 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dark (Jan 12)

5. Pure Beef

Bear Country
AEW

Bear Country's victory over Nick Comoroto and Baron Black suggests a more permanent association with AEW may have been inked. This is often the case when wrestlers pick up their first win on Dark, with many of the YouTube series' army of enhancement talents secretly signed without an official announcement.

If Bears Bronson and Boulder are on the roster now, then good. They deserve it. High-effort showings in their Dark matches, plus their unique look and style, means their spot is warranted.

This was another fun bout from the big beefy boys, though Comoroto looked meaty as well. Bear Country gave him plenty of opportunities to showcase his own strength. The former Performance Center trainee had both Bears off their feet at various points, even lifting Bronson into his shoulders, though he was ultimately there to lose.

An assisted splash on Black followed the Bears' ridiculous backpack double senton in the corner, sealing the deal.
