6 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dynamite (March 27 - Results & Review)
1. LionHOOK Is A Non-Starter

In a mercifully brief but painful backstage segment, Chris Jericho offered to mentor HOOK using the same exposition-riffic dialogue he's been phoning in for weeks.
Did you know he sees HOOK as a future World champion?
HOOK, after making it clear he doesn't quite trust Jericho's motives, eventually agreed.
Good news: this will keep Jericho out of the ring for a while. After all, he's more interested, for reasons that still haven't been adequately explained, in advancing someone else's career ahead of his own.
Bad news: Jericho is involved and not on a long hiatus. His motives to remain relevant are transparent, desperate, sad. Also, HOOK loses more of his aura every time he opens his mouth. He has to learn how to talk eventually, but it's remarkable how quickly he turns from prospect into meme in these backstage segments. This all elicited a doomy feeling. This isn't the answer to HOOK'S obvious greenness.
It's hard to determine what is, but it isn't through Chris Jericho, who increasingly feels like the decrepit, sinister owner of the creepy shop that wasn't there yesterday seeking young essence from an unsuspecting customer to maintain his corporeal form.
