6 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (Mar 3)

2. Little Slice Of Revenge

Keith Lee Swerve Strickland
AEW

There were two distinct threads running through the headline tag on Rampage. One, Keith Lee is an absolute unit who bodies even big guys like Parker Boudreaux with ease. Two, Keith is coming for Swerve Strickland's blood sooner rather than later, and there's nothing the Mogul Affiliates leader can do to stop him.

Good.

Lee and Dustin Rhodes vs. Swerve and Boudreaux had a killer finishing stretch. Plus, Keith pinning Parker makes sense from a storyline perspective, because now Lee can hunt down his real enemy/ex-tag partner in time for Double Or Nothing. Can AEW keep things rolling until then? Hopefully.

The way Keith constantly overpowered Strickland, who had to rely on his quickness to get the hell out of dodge, bodes well for their eventual one-on-one. Rhodes ably played backup and didn't try to make the match all about him, and big Parker was green but got his sh*t in.
