6 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (March 20 - Results & Review)

1. Guts + Effort + Build = Results

Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale, Julia Hart and Skye Blue deserve a bonus for the effort they put in on Wednesday night. All four were in a tough spot too - they were following an 'I Quit' bout between Christian Cage and Adam Copeland that had serious steam, so this was far from an easy gig.

All four seized the day.

These women let it all hang out, worked hard to entertain the fans, and took some nasty bumps throughout the match. Stat landed on thumbtacks, Julia took that aforementioned spinebuster through some wood, and both Willow and Skye crashed through two other tables placed around ringside.

Blue even hit her Code Blue on the announce desk for good measure. Oh yes, there were lots and lots of dazzling spots to keep you busy in this main event. AEW's female 'Street Fights' tend to deliver, and this was just the latest example. The company shouldn't do this willy nilly, but it works occasionally when there's been some build and heat between the workers involved leading into the match.

Fantastic effort, everybody.
