6 Ups & 2 Downs From Before The Impact (Feb 16)
3. No Surrender Coverage
Following a pay-per-view or Impact Plus special, the first episode of Impact Wrestling can often feel overshadowed by coverage of whichever event is in question. With Before The Impact now in the picture, though, we no longer have to worry about this.
While there was a bit of No Surrender footage on last night's main Impact broadcast (they used the same cold open as BTI, for example), the majority of it was featured on this show, courtesy of the regular Impact announce team, Matt Striker and D'Lo Brown. This allowed the Impact episode to feel less like a No Surrender recap, and more like an actual Impact Wrestling episode.
You'll never be able to take away this coverage from the main broadcast entirely, of course, as not everyone who watches Impact will also watch Before The Impact, but it's a good start.
