6 Ups & 2 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Mar 30)

5. Full Metal Mayhem Returns

Another week without a match between any of the four men involved here, resulting in another excellent segment between them. The LAX and current tag champs The Lucha Bros has been chaotic as of late to say the least, something that continued at Against All Odds. A big brawl kicked off the show, which ended with Pentagon Jr. and Fenix being sent through separate tables propped in opposing corners.

This was one of those brawls where it felt as if the whole roster could’ve came out to separate them. Even though it was the first segment of the entire night, that doesn’t mean the locker room couldn’t have emptied here. Remember that intense brawl John Cena and Brock Lesnar had on that one episode of Raw? It kicked off the show, and remains one of the more underappreciated moments in Raw over the last handful of years. This here had the same sort of intensity, two warring units who just have no respect for each other anymore.

It’s since been announced that another championship bout will take place at Rebellion under Full Metal Mayhem rules. It's the right stipulation; there’s no respect left here, so just let them destroy one another. Should be a cracker.
