Downs...

2. Exposing The Sad Truth

Admittedly, this is the most minor of 'Downs', but it feels worth bringing up just because of how much R-Truth's WWE comeback meant to people in early-June. People were tuned in when Ron Killings burst back onto the scene at Money In The Bank, and most figured he'd be pushed as a top star for a couple of months. Try a couple of weeks, at least in the eyes of those farming content during WWE creative meetings.

The sad truth (pun intended) is that Ron has gone from attacking John Cena and obsessively hunting him to being shown in ‘last week’ flashbacks. Here, his only place on the show was in a recap of a sudden win over Aleister Black from last week's episode. Sadly for anyone thrilled by his emotional comeback, Truth is feeding on scraps recently. WWE has killed all of his momentum completely.

They don't get a pass for it.

Why involve him in the stuff between Aleister Black and Damian Priest if he's barely going to make an impact when it matters most? Bringing Truth out so he could at least try to put a stop to Black's ambush on Priest would've made sense, but no - he's randomly taking a week off without Joe Tessitore or Wade Barrett bringing Killings up at all. It makes no sense.

Again, minor moan, but consistency is everything with characters like Truth. Following up on his surprise win over Aleister and keeping Ron in the minds of fans might've been an idea. Just a thought!
