R-Truth Makes SHOCK Return At Money In The Bank (WWE News)
Released last week, R-Truth shocks the world and costs Cena in the main event.

R-Truth made a shocking return to WWE on Saturday night at Money in the Bank, less than one week after being released from the company and sparking outrage and frustration from fans and talent alike.
During the main event tag match pitting John Cena and Logan Paul against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso, a man clad in a black hoodie rushed the ring and waffled Cena with the Undisputed WWE Championship (mirroring what Cena had just done to Rhodes) and pummeled the 17-time world champion. The figure then revealed himself to be Truth, eliciting a huge reaction from the crowd. Cody would nail Cena with a Cross Rhodes to pick up the win.
Truth announced via social media last Sunday that his WWE was not extending his contract, effectively ending his 17-year tenure with the company. The reaction from both fans and talent was severe, with wrestlers frustrated and angry about a talent considered to be a WWE lifer being let go, and fans hijacking WWE programming with "We Want Truth!" chants.
PWInsider.com confirmed that Truth is officially back in WWE and that he will be going by his real name of Ron Killings, at least initially. WWEShop.com's new merchandise identified him by his full name rather than the Truth moniker.

Asked at the post-Money in the Bank media scrum about whether Truth had actually been released or if it was a work, Paul "Triple H" Levesque (who reportedly made the call to release Truth) asked the questioner whether they had enjoyed the PLE and then responded that it was "all part of the show." While that was clearly a deflection, it also would be a hellacious situation if it were true that this was all a work, with numerous current and former WWE talent venting their frustration about Truth and what his release could mean for other less-tenured wrestlers in the lead-up to Saturday.
It's worth noting that Rhodes seemingly confirmed that fan reaction throughout the past week prompted WWE brass to "give you what you want" during a post-show interview.
Fightful Select reported that this is a new deal for Killings, and that he ignored many of WWE's approaches during the past week until Nick Khan called him to work out a new contract. Fightful added that one talent who had worked with Truth for more than a decade said Killings would not have lied to other wrestlers if his release was actually a work. He instead would have asked them "not to say anything." The talent added that Levesque "knows that lying to or working the locker room is horrible taste."
Fightful also noted that a veteran responded the situation by saying, "I can tell Hunter doesn't like it. He doesn't like the fans hijacking creative."
It will be interesting to see whether Killings is reintegrated into storylines with Cena considering he was effectively written out after his Saturday Night's Main Event loss to Big Match John a couple of weeks ago.
