6 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE SmackDown (24 May - Results & Review)
Downs...
2. Back At Square One
So, we're here again.
A-Town Down Under have already beaten The Street Profits, but the lads are doomed to repeat the trick after Friday's six-man tag win for Montez Ford, Angelo Dawkins and LA Knight. Being honest, that kinds makes the entire tag-team division look weaker than a kitten's farts. Shouldn't The Profits be at the back of the line now?!
DIY could've said just that during their backstage promo with Bobby Lashley's mates, but they didn't. Instead, Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano offered to beat Ford and Dawkins to get a crack at Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. Huh? Why would they be content to do that when The Street Profits lost earlier this month?
Theory and Waller deserve better than rinse and repeat. Speaking of which, Knight remains popular but seems to be drifting a little too. His side quest feud vs. Carmelo Hayes has potential, and yet it defo feels like WWE could be doing more with him. His involvement wasn't enough to grab a 'Down' solo though.
