6 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Mar 24)

1. Dominik Went Too Far

It's on!

Rey Mysterio has finally had enough of Dominik's bratty nonsense. The icon held his nerve on a 'Mania clash with his son until Dom started disrespecting his own mother. The Mysterio clan camped out around ringside for Rey's match with LA Knight, then looked on in horror as Dominik called Angie a "deadbeat" for marrying Rey.

It's all very dramatic, and it's all rather played out (WWE has been teasing this for a long time), but the match is all-but-official for next weekend. The idea that Rey could stomach Dominik disrespecting him, but couldn't take his boy disrespecting his wife or daughter, is perfectly reasonable.

Maybe it'd be too rushed given the match is one week away, but WWE really could tack on some sort of "I Quit" stipulation or other gimmick that'd let these guys brawl for a bit. If not, then at least they've got Rey's incoming fatherly guilt to play around with in a straight up match.
