6 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE SmackDown (March 1 - Results & Review)
1. This Could Get Messy
Time for a polarising point: SmackDown's main event between Randy Orton and Austin Theory would've been better-served without the distractions of Kevin Owens and Logan Paul bickering on guest commentary. KO is funny, but he became more of a focal point than the actual match in the ring.
That didn't do much for the headliner.
It's hard to get properly invested in matches like this one when there's so much chaos and hubbub happening behind the desk. Adding Kev back into the United States Title mix again also doesn't sound nearly as compelling as Randy vs. Logan one-on-one. Sorry, it just doesn't.
Of course, this fan is happy to be proven wrong if WWE can find a way to make the whole thing worthwhile. Sadly, it does feel like they've realised Owens would be missing out on a 'Mania payday, so they're shoehorning him back in for the sake of it.
