6 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Oct 30)

Downs...

2. "One Time A Year"

This is more of a general gripe than something exclusive to SmackDown, but it's still valid when WWE harp on about it so much. Michael Cole said that Survivor Series is the "one time a year" that Raw and SmackDown stars do battle.

That's...not true.

Kevin Owens was in the ring when Cole said that, and he literally just feuded with Bray Wyatt before jumping to SmackDown. KO was a Raw man during that mini-story, which makes Mikey's point even more hard to accept. It's baffling that WWE do this sort of revisionist stuff so often, especially weeks after something has already happened.

They need to realise that this doesn't help past events or Survivor Series. It's just a flat out lie, and one that even the most casual of fans would pick up on. Worse, it's totally unnecessary.
