6 Ups & 3 Downs For AEW Collision (April 13 - Results & Review)

3. A Nice Introduction To AZM

AEW Collision AZM
AEW

While the Title Eliminator element may have been questionable, and while there was the general short shrift given to the AEW women's division in-ring again, the match itself between Toni Storm and AZM was a whole lot of fun.

As an introduction to the AEW audience for AZM, this contest did a great job, showing off the 21-year-old's energetic, crisp work against one of AEW's very best. And in Timeless Toni, AZM had the perfect opponent to showcase her particular style, with both ladies having plenty of history with Stardom.

It was stated several times on commentary, but it really cannot be emphasised enough just how good AZM is at such a ridiculously young age, with her already somehow a ten-year veteran of the squared circle. While she came up short courtesy of the Storm Zero, AZM had a fantastic showing, especially when firing back from Toni literally laughing in her face.
