6 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dark (Feb 9)

2. Tay Conti Turns Pink Dream To A Nightmare

This week in Tay Conti Is Really Good, You Guys: the Brazilian martial artist shows range in a fun pseudo squash opposite Alex Gracia, one of Dark's better enhancers.

Conti kicked things off by working chains, tying Gracia in various knots without ever letting her go. The usual array of throws, holds, and kicks followed, before the duo rolled out of the ring as Tay applied a tight leg lock. 'The Pink Dream' came back into as Conti came through the ropes but ate a starchy DDT soon after, eventually losing via leg-assisted chokehold.

Tay looked stiffer than ever here. Her striking was suitably snug and the DDT was vicious, which helped put an exclamation point on her victory. Long may her improvement continue.
