6 Ups & 3 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Jun 23)

1. Hell To The Yeah

Madman Fulton is finally being used correctly. It only took a few months, but he's finally on the path he needs to be on to succeed in Impact Wrestling.

Now the bodyguard for Ace Austin, the artist formerly known as Sawyer Fulton was on top form in his main event bout with Eddie Edwards. Side note: Fulton in the main event is one hell of a nice image. For the most part, Fulton decimated the former World Champion, proving exactly why Ken Shamrock was right when he said Madman could be a top-tier talent if he left oVe behind following their bout at January's Hard To Kill pay-per-view. The way he effortlessly tossed Eddie over the ropes with one hand cemented himself as the monster he is.

Fulton rising to his feet right behind Edwards at ringside is a whole meme in itself, while his match-ending modified variation of the End of Days was a phenomenal way to end the match with Eddie. With his new position in Impact, everyone is going to remember who Madman Fulton is, something that wouldn't have been possible this time a few months ago, not even this time a few weeks ago. Yes, he still isn't a lone star seeing as he's aligned with 'The One True Ace', but he's no longer the afterthought in oVe.

Keep it this way for a while. It's working out well for both Fulton and Austin.
