6 Ups & 3 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Jun 23)
1. Give Rohit A Chance
Believe it or not, Rohit Raju actually won his match this week, and there was no aftermath of him being Gored by a wild Rhino for no real reason. However, it's still a Down for the simple reason that 'The Desi Hitman' was merely used to fill the numbers in that six man tag team match.
Teaming with The Finesse and Bench Press Express pairing of Johnny Swinger and Chris Bey, the trio were victorious over Willie Mack and The Deaners in a fairly decent match. Raju got in some of his usual offence that always looks as crisp as it did the time before - that pouncing knee to the jaw will never fail to look devastating. But the fact that Bey shoved him into a Willie Mack Stunner, as well as Cody Deaner and Cousin Jake destroying him in the early goings, proved the point that he was literally just there because a spot needed to be filled.
Granted, this is still an improvement on Rohit's booking compared to what we've seen in the past. However, it still isn't enough. He needs to get these wins for himself, while also being the most prominent star of the match. It really isn't a hard code to crack.
