What's next for the bold Adam Cole? In fact, on that note, what's next for NXT as a whole? Current GM William Regal ended the latest TakeOver special by walking off after saying the third brand perhaps needed a fresh coat of paint. Does this mean NXT's own 'Big Willy Style' run is over and someone new will get the hot seat?

So many questions.

Being honest, TakeOver: In Your House (the 2021 version) would've floundered without a roster this talented to save it. WWE didn't really put a lot of effort into making the card must-see, which was reflected by the five-man main event, and there are huge question marks over where they take things from here.

There was still more good than bad though, especially if you were able to ignore the shaky build and focus on the bell-to-bell action itself. Some matches wobbled, but others set the table for future one-on-one bouts, cemented new stars or were just ridiculously well-worked due to that aforementioned talent level.

Here are all the 'Ups' and the 'Downs' from a retro-themed night of action that, oddly, didn't give much away about the future.
