6 Ups & 3 Downs From This Week's NWA Powerrr (Nov 5)

1. The Tag Team Ranks Are Flourishing

The NWA’s tag team division may not be overflowing with tag tandems right now, but the promotion’s tag division feels important.

Considering the scarce amount of tag teams in the NWA, it might seem a little bit strange to praise the tag division. But even though there are only a handful of teams in the National Wrestling Alliance right now, they all had a massive role to play on this episode of NWA Powerrr.

Right off the bat, this week’s Powerrr made sense of rematching The Dawsons vs. Eddie Kingston and Homicide. The Dawsons may have beat #1 contenders Kingston and Homicide prior, but Outlaw Inc. were willing to give up their #1 contenders status in order to get revenge. It made sense, it was logical, and it made both teams look badass for accepting their fates.

Elsewhere, the current NWA Tag Team Champions of The Wildcards still remained on their pedestal, as they casually watched Powerrr happenings and then chose the right moment to make their presence known.

Given how the NWA only has a handful of tag teams at their disposal right now, this week’s Powerrr was a great way to showcase them all and make the tag division seem like a pivotal part of the overall NWA product.
