3. Tell Me When Drew’s Telling Lies

Drew McIntyre’s heel run has worked incredibly well, in part because he not only believes what he says to be true but there’s a decent amount of objective truth in what he says.

On Raw Monday night, McIntyre came out and immediately started aping CM Punk’s crowd-pandering routine, calling attention to how disingenuous it can sound if delivered even slightly differently - his “Little Timmy flew 239,000 miles from the moon to worship his Lord and Savior CM Punk” line was tremendous.

But then, McIntyre pointed out that Punk has delivered mostly cheapshots to Drew, attacking from behind because he’s a coward. Naturally, Punk’s music hit and the Second City Saint attacked… from behind. Does that mean Drew is right about everything? No, but it just gives McIntyre more ammo for his self-righteous screeds.

And despite Punk once again desperately clawing for the bracelet during their brawl, the less said about that disappointing plot device, the better. Stick to vicious strap lashes and pure hatred and this feud will heat up nicely into the fall.

Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
