6 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE Raw (5 June - Review)

DOWNS…

3. Playing To Silence

You’d think if WWE is piping in crowd noise (according to segments of the internet) that they wouldn’t allow a match involving and up-and-coming superstar to play out to silence, but that’s what happened to Zoey Stark when she faced Natalya Monday night.

The match was pretty dull, with some mat wrestling to start, Nattie tweaking her knee and then Stark working the injury for a bit before Neidhart got the Sharpshooter. A distraction and interference from Trish Stratus led to Zoey hitting Z-360 for the win. And that was that, with Stark qualifying for Money in the Bank.

There was barely a reaction from fans, and it really showed when compared to other segments of Raw. Hopefully this is an aberration, because the Stark/Stratus pairing is a good one, and it should be given a chance to breathe.
